A well-written humorous read about everyday life situations, that will make you smile and laugh out loud. Great Father's Day Gift.
Just partway into the book and I felt like there was a part of me in David, or a part of David in me. By the time you've finished reading the book you'll feel like you've known him all your life, or wish you had. His humor, experiences, and wisdom are worth my weight in gold. (I say my weight cause that's a lot of gold.) ... buy a copy of the book today, all the smiles, chuckles, and laughter are included free of charge.
I enjoyed reading these short stories. David Sahud's style is very amusing and witty. The stories are easy to read. I often imagined myself actually part of the stories and I found myself laughing out loud many times. I highly recommend this book.
If I ever end up in airport security I hope I keep my humor the way this guy did. This was a very funny read and took me back in time. It was like revisiting a lot of people I grew up around. This guy could have been any one of a number of people my father worked for, and the values and sense of humor which permeated the business culture of the 60s - 80s are well represented here. It just doesn't exist like this anymore, the people, places and attitude. David Sahud was both unique and like man other people of the time. He just got to see more of it than most other people.
This compilation of stories by Mr. David Sahud is a funny and most entertaining read that you won't want to put down. He covers a wide array of topics including family, friends, business, retirement and life in general that are written in a way that folks can relate to. This volume will be a great Father's Day present, a gift for any occasion or simply a treat for you. I highly recommend this book.
I admit, I might be a bit prejudiced, since the author is my father. I've never known anyone with a better sense of humor than my wonderful father. He belonged to a writing club, and the highlight of my day was when he would send me his latest story. This book contains all of his stories, and I don't think there is anyone that wouldn't be able to relate to them. My father's unusual way of looking at things, and his ability to handle even the most stressful situations with humor, has always blessed his family. I'm so glad that through this book, others will be blessed as well!!!! My advice BUY THIS BOOK!!!
This guy is funny. Leaves me wondering what else and where else he has published. I would seriously consider this as a Father's Day gift for Dads who like Dave Barry or Art Buchwald. Alan
